Summerlin Goes Western

Summerlin children pan for "gold" during the master-planned community's recent western round-up at The Trails Park. Attended by more than 600 residents, the event is one of more than two dozen planned exclusively for the community's residents by the Summerlin Council, the nonprofit arm of the Summerlin Community Association. The event also included pony and train rides, a petting zoo, a performance by Native American dancers, carnival games, and farmers market.
