Golf club community developer: Sunrise Colony

Sunrise Colony Co. has been developing golf course communities for more than 30 years. In Southern Nevada, the developer offers two such properties, both of which are guard-gated and located in Summerlin.

Encompassing 738 acres, Red Rock Country Club is planned to include 1,116 homes. Resident amenities include a clubhouse, two golf courses, a sports club, tennis facility and aquatic center. Homes are priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 west to the Sahara exit and turn left.

Siena, an age-qualified community, will comprise fewer than 1,980 homes built on 665 acres. The Siena Golf Club is complemented by a clubhouse, as well as fitness and social centers. Homes are priced from the $140,000s to the $650,000s.

To visit, take Sahara or Interstate 215 west to Town Center Drive and turn left. Proceed to Siena Monte Avenue and turn left.
