US Home sponsors voter registration event

Valley residents can register to vote today at US Home's Canyon Mist Estates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event at the northwestern valley neighborhood will include refreshments and a broadcast remote.

"We are very happy to offer this voter registration opportunity," US Home executive Vicki Zoot said. "It's important that we all take advantage of our right to vote. And with just a few days left for residents to register to vote in the November election, we hope this will be a great last minute reminder for everyone."

The gated neighborhood offers one- and two-story homes, many on sites that include space for a recreational vehicle.

Five floor plans are available, ranging from 2,550 to more than 4,500 square feet with various options.

"Our luxury home designs have a flexibility that home buyers appreciate. They are designed to let homeowners select the interior design options and amenities that are important to their family and lifestyle needs," Zoot said.

The residences are priced from $599,990.

A limited number of homes are available for Thanksgiving move-in.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. From the interstate, go east to Jones Boulevard, head north to Elkhorn Road and follow the signs.

The builder also is sponsoring a drawing for a 42-inch plasma television through Thursday at all of its new-home neighborhoods.
