Aliante thrills family
The homes, lifestyle and value available at Aliante, a master-planned community in North Las Vegas, proved ideal for Rommel and Luz Garcia and their three children. "We felt that it would be a great place to live and an excellent investment for us as well," said Rommel Garcia, who is a mortgage agent. "I knew a few people who had bought homes here and they were very enthusiastic about this community. Now that we've bought our own home here, we're equally excited," he said. They chose the Amore design in KB Home's San Destin Tivoli neighborhood. The two-story home features three bedrooms, a loft or optional bedroom, and 2 1/2 baths in 2,209 square feet. "The Amore design is a home with a unique exterior design, spacious living areas and lots of bedrooms. With three children, a four-bedroom design will provide every member of the family with plenty of space and privacy," Garcia said. Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. Its 1,905 acres will comprise an all-ages village and age-qualified village, Sun City Aliante, which will collectively have as many as 7,500 homes. Builders are Astoria Homes, Del Webb, D.R. Horton, KB Home, Lennar, Meritage Homes, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes and US Home. Prices start from the $170,000s to the $700,000s. Nearly 430 acres are designated for recreational and public purposes including the municipal Aliante Golf Club, the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, two additional city parks, trails and an arroyo. Plans also call for two elementary schools, a middle school, and about 100 acres of commercial development, including retail and business centers, restaurants and a 40-acre resort with gaming. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south.
