Home seller happy with Help-U-Sell

After Alan Meyer sold his home with the assistance of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Solutions, a fee-for-service agency, he recommended the company to his sister-in-law.

"I like Help-U-Sell because I'm able to save myself money," said Meyer, who has been in the Air Force for 19 years.

The company markets the property, which includes advertising, a lock box and signage. Sellers show their own properties, may conduct open houses, and receive full representation. The seller is responsible for paying the buyer's agent's commission.

Although he has no plans to move from his current home, Meyer said he would contact the company again if his situation changes.

All of the company's agents are members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, and represent clients based on assigned ZIP codes.

The company was formed in California in 1976 and opened its first office in Southern Nevada in 2001. It plans to have 22 local offices by spring, according to a spokesman.
