Pardee name draws buyer to San Rafael

Local businessmen Michael Dinielli and Avel Ureño recently relocated themselves and their business to North Las Vegas, a move they hope will benefit them personally and professionally.

Dinielli, a graduate of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and owner of an online business, bought a home at Pardee's San Rafael neighborhood, which he said he will share with Ureño; They plan to open a storefront nearby.

"The location is ideal for us and our business," said Dinielli, a 19-year resident of Southern Nevada. "We like being next to Eldorado and Aliante, close to the 215 beltway, and close to a large post office branch, which is important for our business. We also like the views of nearby mountains and all of the parks and recreational opportunities in the area."

Located next to the builder's Eldorado community, San Rafael features two-story homes, a small park, walking path and tree-lined curvilinear streets.

Dinielli said he and Ureño chose Pardee Homes long before choosing the neighborhood.

"We researched local builders and were really impressed with Pardee's Energy Star commitment," Dinielli said. "We knew then we wanted a Pardee home, and got on the interest list at a couple of communities and were able to get a home at San Rafael."

Dinielli and Ureño chose the Plan Four with an optional game room that will be used as an office. They also chose a fourth bedroom in lieu of the plan's loft. A two-car garage is standard with each home.

Plan Four measures 1,985 square feet with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It is priced from $293,900.

Also with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths is Plan One, a 1,577-square-foot residence that starts at $252,900.

Priced from $264,900, Plan Two has two bedrooms, a den and 2 1/2 baths. It can be also built with as many as four bedrooms and three baths. The home measures 1,651 square feet.

At 1,820-square feet, Plan Three features four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and an optional game room. The price starts at $282,900.

To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and go north until it becomes Camino Eldorado, proceed north to Ann Road and go west to Clayton Street. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built more than 30,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
