Chef hosts cooking clinic

Renowned chef Gustav Mauler will conduct the third session of a four-class series for homeowners and prospective buyers today from 1 to 3 p.m. at Pulte Homes' Anthem Highlands community in Henderson.

The class, which is free, will be held in the Stonehaven Collection's 3483 Plan. Mauler partnered with the builder to create an upgraded kitchen package featuring a series of appliances that is on display in the model home.

Today's class, which is open to all, will highlight recipes for fall. Samples will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The final class of the series featuring Thanksgiving preparation is scheduled for Nov. 20. Contact the sales office for more information.

The stainless steel kitchen package features appliances that carry the certified master chef's "Seal of Approval." Among the appliances are a wall-mounted hood; cook top with gas burner and grill; built-in microwave with speed cook technology; dual convection ovens; warming drawer; built-in refrigerator with dispenser; dishwasher; and wine chiller.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue, go south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
