Buyers discover Christopher's `Build on Your Lot' program

Christopher Homes' "Build on Your Lot" program simplifies the process of designing and building a custom home, according to sales agent Dana Limon.

The builder intended the program to be cost-effective and time-saving for custom-home site owners.

"Our clients can choose from a wide selection of award-winning residential designs that offer myriad floor-plan modifications and customizing options," Limon said. "Most remarkable is the fact that these residences are priced from the $500,000s, excluding the home site, and they can be completed within as little as eight months."

The homes measure as much as 6,200 square feet.

The designs can be viewed on video or by photograph and, in many cases, clients can walk through a completed version of their chosen plans by visiting one of the builder's model homes.

Limon pointed out that the Las Vegas-based company is familiar with local building codes and the architectural review process.

Clients first meet with a sales agent to discuss design variations and options. Next, the client consults with a representative from the builder's design center about options that may include elevators, motor courts, courtyard fireplaces, casitas, detached guest quarters, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars.

The builder also can assist in locating a home site.

Additional information about the program can be obtained at Christopher's newest custom estate at MacDonald Highlands in Henderson. The home is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to the Valle Verde Drive exit and go south past Horizon Ridge Parkway to the community's entrance. The guard will provide further directions.
