Exec: Few homes remain at Sun City MacDonald Ranch

Del Webb Corp.'s Sun City MacDonald Ranch has experienced tremendous success with its Premier Series of homes, according to Bill Shepperd, senior sales manager. With fewer than 100 field models left to sell in the community, Shepperd said sales of such homes have been strong.

"We are selling out of our community more than two years ahead of schedule," Shepperd said. "This is due in large part to our offering of desirable floor plans, well-built homes and lifestyle-based amenities."

The Premier Series offers five models ranging from 1,261 to 1,674 square feet. This series offers two bedrooms, two baths, living and dining areas, and utility rooms.

The Palm Desert is a 1,261-square-foot home that offers an optional patio and bay window. At 1,374 square feet, the Georgetown includes a combination living/dining area as well as an optional patio and bay window. The 1,502-square-foot Phoenix, 1,562-square-foot Hilton Head and 1,674-square-foot Huntley all include breakfast nooks as well as optional fireplaces, patios, and bay windows. Room additions are also available.

Homes are priced from $121,100 to $164,400.

The 36,000-square-foot Desert Willow Community Center within the community houses fitness, social and dining activities, as well as the Desert Willow Golf Club.

To visit, take the Interstate 215 beltway to Green Valley Parkway and head south to Horizon Ridge Parkway. Models are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
