Rhodes opens second phase at The Villas

The Villas at Rhodes Ranch, a Rhodes Homes townhome development in the southwestern valley, has opened its second phase with early phase pricing still available, according to the builder.

"We're very happy with the results so far," Jim Rhodes, president of Rhodes Homes, said. "Our early phase pricing offers home buyers an opportunity to achieve equity in their property before they even move into the home. And for this weekend, we will hold the early pricing."

Four models, ranging from 1,300 to 1,600 square feet, are available at the single-story, gated development. Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.

Community amenities include a heated swimming pool, lap pool, cabana, and barbecue pit. The Spring Mountain range serves as a backdrop.

The duplex homes have proved popular among retirees, investors and families, according to sales agent Lori Scalleat.

"Our first sale was to a family who bought both homes," Scalleat said. "I guess they wanted to be close to one another, yet still have some privacy from time to time. They felt like they got the best of both worlds."

To visit, take Interstate 15 to Interstate 215, go west to the Durango Drive exit then head south to Warm Springs Road.

The townhomes are located northwest of the Rhodes Ranch golf course.
