Canyon Edge debuts with elevated homes

Sales have started at Canyon Edge, a 17-acre neighborhood, featuring 44 private estates near Green Valley Parkway, just south of the Interstate 215 Las Vegas Beltway. Alpha Land Development, a partnership of four builders, is developing the project.

The neighborhood offers five home designs, ranging from 3,900 to 5,500 square feet. Prices start at $1.2 million.

The subdivision will sit on elevated topography overlooking the Las Vegas Valley with panoramic views of the Strip and downtown area to the north and mountain views to the west. The homes, which are designed in a terraced fashion, line just one side of the street, affording unobstructed views.

Each home offers outdoor living areas including courtyards, decks, trellises, pergolas and fully equipped outdoor kitchens.

Contemporary architectural designs provide clean, modern lines enhanced by sliding walls, layered levels, light shafts and filtered light.

Other home options include elevators, master retreats and basements with game rooms, wine cellars and theatre rooms.

"Canyon Edge is a luxury home neighborhood that is adding to the diversity of the Las Vegas home market," sales agent Kenneth Lowman said.

"It is the Las Vegas Valley's first contemporary upscale, semi-custom neighborhood. Its distinctive ultra-modern architectural style, accompanied by abundant detail, special features, unparalleled views and a superb location, will make Canyon Edge a coveted Henderson address for years to come."
