Many Summerlin home builders are well-established within the community, according to Larry Brocato, executive vice president of The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of the master plan.

Pulte Homes has built 20 neighborhoods in Summerlin, where it has five more under construction; KB Home and Toll Bros. have both developed 13 neighborhoods; Woodside Homes, which built the community's first home in 1991, has completed 10 projects; William Lyon Homes has built nine properties; and Christopher Homes has developed eight properties.
