Stanpark's Monument breaks 200 sales
Monument at Lone Mountain, a gated neighborhood in the northwestern valley by Stanpark Homes, has sold more than 200 homes since opening in September 2001. Michael Cox, director of sales and marketing, said the neighborhood's "hometown charm" has appealed to a range of buyers. "It's great to see the mix of homeowners who live here, from young families to retirees. Monument is located in such a scenic area of the valley, between Lone Mountain and the Spring Mountains, and once visitors get a glimpse of the views we offer and see the charming neighborhoods, they are immediately drawn to the community," Cox said. The setting impressed Mary Foster and James Novak, who were among the first home buyers. "We searched for a home for about two years, and were amazed once we visited Monument because of the location and all the community offers for such a great value. We feel like we are in a different world here with panoramic views of the mountains on every side of us, as well as views of the Strip, which is so beautiful at night," Foster said. A 5-acre park is near completion at the neighborhood and the final phase in the Crescendo series is scheduled for release in October. The park will feature a playground, walking trails, barbecues, benches and a gazebo. There is also a smaller park. Two subdivisions, The Summit and Crescendo, feature eight single- and two-story floor plans. The builder offers a 10-year homeowner protection plan. At The Summit, designs range from 1,379 to 2,461 square feet with as many as four bedrooms and three-car garages. Prices start from the $150,000s. Crescendo homes measure from 1,949 to 3,634 square feet with prices starting from the $180,000s. The plans allow for as many as seven bedrooms and four-car garages. The builder offers qualified buyers a no-cost program to help them sell their current home home, as well as 1 percent off closing costs for using the preferred lender. To visit, take Interstate 215 or U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and head west. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. |
