Pulte wins third-straight top honor in customer survey
Pulte Homes in Las Vegas ranked highest in customer satisfaction and Del Webb Communities ranked second in the 2002 J.D. Power and Associates New Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study for the Las Vegas market. It is the third year in a row that Pulte Homes in Las Vegas has been awarded the top honor by the survey. Pulte Homes Las Vegas ranked highest of any builder in the 16 markets surveyed with a score of 139. The study of the 16 largest home-building markets in the United States noted customer service and home readiness as the two factors most heavily influencing the customer's overall level of satisfaction. Other factors include the sales staff, quality of workmanship/materials, price/value considerations, physical design elements, the builder's design center, neighborhood recreational facilities and location. "This honor demonstrates all that we've done to reach out to our customer and deliver a quality home and superior customer service. We're thrilled our customers have responded so positively to our efforts," said Steve Petruska, area president for Pulte and Del Webb in Las Vegas. "This is a significant achievement but certainly not our final goal. We are focused every day on improving our systems to achieve even better customer satisfaction." Pulte Homes divisions ranked first in seven markets surveyed and were among the top three home builders in 12 of the 16 markets. In Las Vegas, the builder has 10 active subdivisions priced from the $150,000s to more than $350,000. Del Webb is developing Sun City Anthem and Anthem Country Club, and is expected to open Sun City Aliante in North Las Vegas in early October. Pulte Homes Inc. has operations in more than 43 markets across the United States. Over its history, the company has constructed more than 300,000 homes.
