Pulte sets Anthem Highlands opening
Pulte Homes has scheduled the grand opening for its Anthem Highlands community next weekend. "Anthem Highlands has proven to be one of the most popular communities in the area and it doesn't even officially open until next weekend," sales manager Brinton Cook said. "The grand opening is going to attract even more home buyers and we expect the number of home sales to increase dramatically." Festivities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the Henderson community located within the Anthem master plan. Eighteen models will debut. Chef Gustav Mauler, whose "Seal of Approval" upgraded kitchen appliance package is featured in the community's Stonehaven Collection, will present cooking demonstrations at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in plan 3483. The upgraded package features stainless steel appliances including microwave and convection ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, wine chiller and warming drawer. Plan 3483 is the largest home in the collection, which offers single- and two-story homes starting at 2,843 square feet and priced from $475,990 to $534,990. The community also offers homes ranging from 1,580 to 2,804 square feet and priced from $245,990 to $402,990. The model village will feature 60,000 square feet of synthetic turf, an option available to home buyers. All homes will include the builder's Platinum Series Environment for Living technology, the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star certification for being at least 30 percent more energy efficient than federal standards require, and a three-year heating and cooling guarantee. The 400-acre community will have about 1,500 homes. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
