US Home pleases buyers

Michael and Maria Cordova are all smiles when they think about their new home at the Courts at Turtle Creek in the northwestern valley, and the customer service they received from US Home.

"Our whole experience has been incredible. US Home was all about making us happy every step of the way," Michael Cordova said.

"We had incredible guidance through the construction with specific inspections at the building site with our builder. It was like having our own personal builder."

"The entire process from beginning to end made us feel special. The people at US Home really cared about us, our family and our home. It has been one of the best, most exciting experiences in our life," Maria Cordova added.

The Cordovas were among the first buyers at the neighborhood. They selected a Brentwood design, which they had seen at the builder's Spanish Springs neighborhood.

Four bedrooms are featured in the single-story design, which was expanded to about 3,100 square feet.

With three children and three dogs, the couple chose to extend their family room and master suite 12 feet, and add a 3-foot expansion to the home's front. In addition, the exterior elevation they chose enlarged their garage.

They also upgraded the home's wiring and insulation.

"That really does make a difference in our heating and cooling costs, but also for noise," Maria Cordova said.

The Cordovas praised the staff at the builder's design center, which helped them make selections based on pictures they had taken of the model.

"Not one person ever made us feel like our questions weren't just as important to them as they were to us," she said.

Two flexible designs, measuring 2,550 and 3,880, priced from the $500,000s are available.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard and go north to Azure Drive. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
