Job leads Del Webb employee to home

Diane Paltrineri believes wholeheartedly in Del Webb. Recently, she was promoted to general sales manager for the builder's age-qualified Sun City Aliante. She purchased a home at its nearby all-ages Club Aliante community in North Las Vegas.

"I love the floor plan, the Aliante area and the quality of the home," Paltrineri said.

She purchased a single-story Sagecrest design that measures 2,168 square feet and has three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, dining room, three-car garage and covered patio. It is priced from the $540,000s.

Four additional plans ranging from 2,576 to 3,665 square feet are available at the guard-gated community. Models are set to debut Oct. 9.

Sun City Aliante offers seven designs ranging from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and priced from the mid-$310,000s.

Originally from Boston, Paltrineri has lived in the valley for 14 years. An avid motorcyclist, she enjoys riding through Red Rock Canyon. She also enjoys photography and spending time with friends and her two pugs, Hugo and Rolo.

She said she is looking forward to moving into her new home in January and appreciates its energy-efficient construction.

"This past summer, my monthly electric bill was close to $300. (The) Environments for Living program offers a huge incentive to buy their energy-efficient homes," Paltrineri said.

The builder uses the Platinum Plus level of the technology program to construct its homes and provides a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee. In addition, the homes carry the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label.

As a resident, Paltrineri will have access to myriad amenities including a planned 5,200-square-foot fitness/recreation center that will have locker rooms and an outdoor pool and spa. It is set for completion in late spring 2005.

Additional community amenities include the public Aliante Golf Club, a 6,900-yard 18-hole course, and the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, which has a group picnic area, amphitheater, soccer fields, and tennis and volleyball courts.

Walking trails, schools and retail stores are also planned.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Take I-215 to the Aliante Parkway exit then go north. The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Del Webb is a subsidiary of Pulte Homes Inc., one of the nation's largest home builders. It is a leading builder of age-qualified communities and offers Sun City Anthem, Solera at Anthem, both in Henderson, as well as Sun City Aliante.
