Developer breaks ground on Juhl mid-rise

CityMark Development broke ground on its juhl condominium project in downtown Las Vegas last month.

"We are pleased to begin the vertical construction process of the juhl project," said Russ Haley, vice president of CityMark, the San Diego-based developer of the new development. "We are right on schedule and are expecting to see juhl completed in the spring of 2008."

Aspiring to the charm of the urban warehouse districts in other cities around the country, the builder is hoping to redefine downtown living in Las Vegas, according to Haley. The project will border the Las Vegas art and business district and will offer six buildings of varying heights and facades, with over 100 floor plans from 616 to 2,500 square feet. Designs include one- and two-story live/work lofts, mid-rise and high-rise lofts, warehouse lofts, townhouses, flats and penthouses.

The development will include a two-story fitness center and rooftop courtyard with pool and spa, along with a ninth-floor viewing deck and a secured multi-level, parking deck with 24-hour security. Juhl will feature 24,000 square-feet of retail space.

To visit, from Interstate 15, exit Charleston Boulevard and head east; turn left on Grand Central Parkway; turn right on Bonneville Avenue; end at 255 E. Bonneville Ave.

The office opens from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except on Monday when it opens at noon. For more information visit www.juhl-lv.com.
