Among the newest offerings at Lake Las Vegas Resort is the executive concierge program, which allows residents to access a variety of complimentary services.

Such services include arranging for transportation in the community's limousine; use of the community's moving van; and making lodging, spa, restaurant, golf course and show reservations.

To introduce the program, residents were presented with gifts as they entered and exited the guard-gated community of SouthShore.

"Throughout September we (are making) special gestures to the residents in the form of various little gifts," Kevin Schroeder, a member of the concierge staff, said. "One morning we presented our departing residents with French pastries and gourmet coffee, and another morning we handed out copies of (the newspaper) and orange juice. In the evenings we have given cigars and roses to our returning residents, and boxes of truffles and liquor cremes. The response from our residents has been tremendous ..."

Amy Crane, another staff member, said the program complements the residential-resort Henderson community.

"Our executive concierge staff is dedicated to providing the utmost in quality customer service and to enhance the Lake Las Vegas Resort lifestyle," Crane said.

Resort amenities include the private SouthShore Golf Club and the public Reflection Bay Golf Club, both of which were designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Reflection Bay Golf & Beach Club offers waterfront dining at La Chandele.

The SouthShore Yacht & Beach Club has memberships available to all SouthShore owners. Invitational recallable memberships are open to non-SouthShore owners.

Lake Las Vegas Marine Services provides an array of services and aligns the community's 320-acre lake.

Several residential developments are available and include MonteCatini, which offers multiacre lots priced from $2 million to $10 million.

Vila di Lago homes measure as large as 2,500 square feet and are priced from $410,000, including lot premiums.

Home sites are built into the hillsides and along the lake at SouthShore, a guard-gated community with lots priced from $256,000 to $1.75 million.

SouthShore Golf Villas offers furnished villas measuring 950 square feet and priced from $475,000.

Also open is MiraMonte. Three floor plans are available, ranging from 2,867 to 3,119 square feet and priced from $1.3 million.

PortaCielo's three floor plans range from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet and are priced from $500,000, plus lot premiums.

The resort is being developed by Transcontinental Properties Inc.

To visit, take Lake Mead Drive seven miles east of Boulder Highway to Lake Las Vegas Parkway. The sales center is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on the weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
