Sun City MacDonald Ranch strives for closeout in 2000
Del Webb Corp.'s Sun City MacDonald Ranch has sold out of home sites and has fewer than 100 field models remaining, according to Bill Shepperd, senior sales manager. The buildout of the community is more than two years ahead of projections. "We're anticipating being sold out before the end of the year," Shepperd said. "Our community is extremely popular, and after only 4 1/2 years of sales, we're selling out much earlier than anticipated. "We have no more unassigned home sites, and fewer than 100 field model homes in various stages of construction. These field models range from start through completion and ready to move into, giving our home buyers a variety of choices and time frames to accommodate their needs. Buyers will also receive various design studio credit incentives on field models." The community offers seven single-story models in two series, Classics and Premiers, which range from 1,020 to 1,674 square feet. In the Classics series, the Roseville is the only single-bedroom home and has a den, and living and dining areas. Also in this series is the Tucson, a 1,130-square-foot home with two bedrooms and two baths, as well as an optional patio and bay window. Homes in the Premier series offer two bedrooms, two baths, living and dining areas, and utility rooms. Homes are priced from $121,100 to $164,400. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Green Valley Parkway, head south to Horizon Ridge Parkway, and then drive east to the community.
