SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

A waterfall, tropical palms, guard-gated entrance and golf course form the setting for the Rhodes Ranch community, which has recently added four new builders: Astoria Homes, Desert Oak Homes, John Laing Homes and Spinnaker Homes. The product these companies add will increase the number of floor plans available at the southwestern valley community to 38.

"We are pleased to welcome these new builders to our family of communities at Rhodes Ranch," Renee Schwan, director of marketing for Rhodes Homes, said. "Rhodes Ranch is an absolutely beautiful master-planned community, and these additional builders will strengthen the entire master plan and enhance the range of offerings to home buyers. We at Rhodes Homes are also excited to announce our plans for two new product lines at Rhodes Ranch, which are scheduled to be unveiled early this fall."

Astoria Homes offers Auburn Hills, a neighborhood with five models, ranging from 2,414 to 3,694 square feet. Prices start from the $200,000s. These one- and two-story plans come with as many as six bedrooms and three-car garages.

Desert Oak Homes is building Summerchase, a collection of seven models ranging from 2,094 to 4,886 square feet. Prices start in the $200,000s. These homes feature Corian or granite kitchen counter tops, cultured-marble Roman tubs, brass-accented bath fixtures and finished garages. Golf course home sites are available.

Sierra Crossings, built by John Laing Homes, offers eight models, ranging from 1,187 to 2,300 square feet. Models include single-story and two-story plans. Prices start in the $110,000s. This neighborhood will open in January 2001, but an interest list is being kept. Contact the builder for information.

Spinnaker Homes will offer its Symphony Collection homes in its Spinnaker Homes at Rhodes Ranch. These four models range from 1,482 to 2,532 square feet with prices starting in the $150,000s. Amenities include granite kitchen counter tops, three-car garage, cultured-marble shower surrounds and fireplaces.

Three other neighborhoods were already open at the community: The Champions, The Fairways and The Greens.

The Champions has eight one- and two-story models available, ranging from 2,055 to 4,210 square feet. Prices start from the $200,000s. Lots adjacent to the golf course are available, and the model homes are for sale, complete with furnishings.

Only a few homes remain in The Fairways. Models range from 1,733 to 2,935 square feet, and prices start from the $160,000s. The Greens features homes measuring from 1,490 to 2,556 square feet and priced in the $150,000s. Both neighborhoods offer one- and two-story floor plans.

Buyers who finance their home through Rhodes Homes' preferred lender, Premiere Mortgage Lending Group, receive granite kitchen counter tops.

The sales offices and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, go south past Warm Springs Road to the entrance of Rhodes Ranch, and follow the signs.
