Perma-Bilt reports strong sales at Southern Terrace

Perma-Bilt Homes' Southern Terrace neighborhood in the southwestern valley continues to attract new-home shoppers who are seeking a diverse product line. More than 145 homes have been sold at the community, which opened in early August, according to Ruch Ochoa, vice president of sales and marketing.

"Southern Terrace features four unique product lines ranging from entry-level homes to spacious single-story plans to executive-style homes with up to six bedrooms," Ochoa said.

Fifteen model homes in four neighborhoods are featured. The designs have received the ComfortWise and Energy Star designations for energy efficiency.

The Autumn Hills neighborhood features four plans that measure from 1,563 to 1,953 square feet. Prices start from the $150,000s.

Somerset offers four designs, ranging from 1,379 to 2,467 square feet and priced from the $150,000s. They include such features as a library, island kitchen, tandem three-car garage, and options for a bonus room, loft, retreat and as many as five bedrooms.

The four single-story plans at Ridgemont measure from 2,223 to 2,759 square feet and include courtyard entries and split three-car garages. Prices start from the $230,000s.

The largest homes at Southern Terrace are offered at Monterey, where three two-story floor plans range from 2,860 to 3,541 square feet and are priced from the high $200,000s. Among their features are split three-car garages, owner retreats, courtyard entries, optional bonus rooms, patios, home offices, libraries, and as many as six bedrooms and four baths.

"In addition, our community club concept is rated as an outstanding amenity by our homeowners, who love the convenience of having a beautiful facility with swimming pools, workout rooms and club facilities right in their own community and available exclusively to residents," Ochoa said.

The Southern Terrace Club, situated on a 2-acre site, also features a playground, picnic and barbecue area, health club, saunas, locker rooms, massage facility, and a full-time director. Completion is scheduled for January 2002.

The builder is also developing a paved trail with desert landscaping for walking, jogging and biking.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to the Russell Road and head west to Fort Apache Road. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
