Summerlin Ice Cream Fest

The event, scheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Willows Park, 2275 Desert Marigold Lane, will benefit Nevada Ballet Theatre. The store is supplying 700 gallons of ice cream plus toppings, while Hughes Corp. is underwriting much of the event. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children ages 5 to 12. There will be balloons, face-painting, games, music, ballet performances and an ice cream eating contest. Other food will be available for purchase.
