Christopher's designs attract buyers

Home buyers seeking a range of design selections and customizing possibilities are discovering The Christopher Collection, an enclave by Christopher Homes at the Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley.

Sales agent Teresa Tebbs said about 75 percent of the neighborhood's 98 homes have been sold. The remaining home sites are located along the golf course, except for two interior lots on a cul de sac which measure about 15,000 and 17,000 square feet.

"This is an excellent time to buy a home at The Christopher Collection, as Christopher Homes has released some of our finest home sites and we are offering incentives worth thousands of dollars towards selected golf course home sites," Tebbs said. Fifteen single- and two-story designs are featured, measuring from about 3,000 to 6,200 square feet and priced from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million. The lots average about one-quarter acre.

Each home offers a stainless steel appliance package, oak or maple cabinetry, granite counter tops, and options and upgrades.

The builder also is constructing The Villas in the Southern Highlands Golf Club. Seven courtyard designs are offered, ranging from about 2,100 to 3,300 square feet and priced from the high $300,000s.

The one-story plans can be expanded to two stories, and two-story homes can be expanded to three stories. The community association handles the landscaping of the front yards and open space.

Amenities within the guard-gated golf club include roving security, concierge services, a planned sports and fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a clubhouse. Christopher Homes provides each buyer with a social membership at the golf club, upon application approval.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south to the St. Rose Parkway/Lake Mead Drive exit and go west, following the signs. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
