COLUMN: ACHIEVERS

-- Harsch Investment Properties appointed John Ramous as vice president of operations for its Las Vegas office. Ramous is responsible for overseeing operations, property management and leasing. Previously, he served as portfolio manager for First Industrial Realty Trust.

-- Gateway Realty named Sjon Scarborough as vice president of marketing and leasing. He is responsible for the leasing and marketing for Montecito Co. developments. Previously, he worked with several hotels and casinos, including Mandalay Bay Resorts and the MGM Grand. He has also developed working relationships with developers such as the Thomas and Mack Co., American Nevada Corp., The Rouse Co. and Triple Five Development.

-- Commercial Associates appointed Martha Kader as research and marketing assistant. Previously, she was an executive assistant for a Boston lawyer, and was also a research assistant for Bersch Accounting in Milwaukee.
