Del Webb releases last Cottage homes
Del Webb recently released the last of its Cottage series homes in Sun City Anthem, an age-qualified community in Henderson. "These are very livable smaller homes in the lowest price range currently offered at Sun City Anthem," sales manager Sue Camara said. "It is the last chance to buy into the resort-type lifestyle enjoyed at Sun City Anthem in this price range. We expect the last Cottage home sites to sell within 30 days." The Cottage series includes the Hancock, a one-bedroom home measuring 1,080 square feet. It offers a two-car garage, great room and den or optional second bedroom. Another floor plan available is the Hamilton, a two-bedroom home with great room, two-car garage and covered patio. It measures 1,160 square feet. "These two floor plans are a popular choice for singles and those looking for a second home; as well as couples looking for a bargain," she said. Sun City Anthem offers 19 models, ranging from 1,080 to 3,009 square feet. Homes are priced from the mid-$140,000s to more than $500,000. Among the community's amenities is the 77,363-square-foot Anthem Center, one of the largest recreational facilities built by Del Webb. It offers fitness, social and recreational opportunities for residents, such as tennis courts, bocce, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, walking track, exercise center, clubs, library, ballroom, as well as Trumpets Restaurant, which is open to the public. "Sun City Anthem must be seen to be believed," Camara said. Highlights of the master-planned community are the two 18-hole championship golf courses created by PGA player Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash: the Lexington and the Concord. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, turn left on Anthem Parkway, go 1 1/4 miles and turn right on Alexandria Drive. Models open daily at 8:30 a.m. and will stay open until 7 p.m. during the month of September.
