KB Home debuts Mesa series
Clifford, The Big Red Dog, will help KB Home mark the opening of its Mesa series this weekend at Iron Mountain Ranch in northwest Las Vegas. Visitors can meet the cartoon character between noon and 3 p.m. today and from 1 to 4 p.m. tomorrow. In addition, Clifford books and videos will be given away while supplies last, and there will be a prize drawing for a $500 gift certificate to the Boulevard or Meadows mall. The Mesa series offers 10 floor plans priced from the high $120,000s to the low $170,000s. Four plans -- Stetson, Saddle, Bridle and Bandana -- are modeled. "Iron Mountain Ranch has been an incredibly popular community with our home buyers," said Leah Bryant, president of the builder's Las Vegas division. "Our home buyers like the location, the parks located in the neighborhoods and the various floor plan choices Iron Mountain Ranch offers." The Stetson is a single-story, 1,442 square-foot home with two bedrooms, a den and two baths. The Saddle is a two-story, 1,658 square-foot home with three bedrooms, a loft and two baths. A fourth bedroom and covered patio are available. Also two-story, The Bridle measures 2,023 square feet with three bedrooms, a bonus room and two baths. Fourth and fifth bedrooms, a third bath, loft, bunk room, den and covered patio are all optional. The Bandana, measuring 2,312 square feet, offers four bedrooms, two baths, a bonus room and great room in two stories. A balcony and covered patio are optional. Three other series, the Prairie, Frontier and Sierra, offer a combined 14 models and 27 floor plans. The single- and two-story homes measure from 1,098 to 3,633 square feet with prices ranging from the $120,000s to $230,000s. The homes can be built with two to seven bedrooms, two to four baths, and two- or three-car garages. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, go east to Jones Boulevard and turn north to Grand Teton Drive. The sale office is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at 9 a.m. KB Home offers the Homebuyers Club and the Home Finding Center. The Homebuyers Club helps nonhomeowners achieve homeownership. The Home Finding Center consolidates the company's 20 valley locations into a single sales office.
