Anthem Country Club nears finale; few models, home sites available

Only four of Anthem Country Club's model village homes remain for sale at the guard-gated community for all ages.

"We have sold eight of the fully furnished models in the past two weeks," Jeb Koury, senior sales manager, said. "Because these are models, they all have a lot of optional features included. These homes have everything desirable in a new home."

The landscaped homes are sold with all furnishings, appliances and upgrades. Extras include upgraded appliances, window coverings and, in some cases, swimming pools, spas or water features.

"Purchasing opportunities at Anthem Country Club is coming to a close," Koury said. "We currently have just 18 inventory homes available with a 30- to 90-day occupancy."

The inventory homes include some priced at more than $1 million.

Only 12 home sites are available.

"Buyers may build any Anthem Country Club model plan they wish on these sites," Koury said.

Floor plans range from 1,900 to 6,000 square feet.

In addition, two custom lots are available.

"These are among the most desirable locations we have ever had. They are located at the highest point in the community in a gated neighborhood with spectacular vistas of the city and mountains," Koury said.

Nestled in the foothills of Black Mountain, Anthem Country Club is part of Del Webb's Anthem community in Henderson.

"As we near the completion of Anthem Country Club, the final release of existing homes and custom-home sites provides a rare chance to enjoy the privileges of this landmark community."

Equity golf membership is an option available to all homeowners and is included with the purchase of select custom-home sites. The community's 7,300-yard, par-72, championship golf course was designed by professional golfer Hale Irwin and course architect Keith Foster.

Other amenities include a private athletic club with three swimming pools; cardiovascular equipment; aerobics; and basketball, volleyball and tennis facilities. Also featured is a full-service salon.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
