Buyers impressed by layout of Anthem Country Club

Carol and Michael Peitler moved into Anthem Country Club one year ago, selecting the Henderson community as an ideal place to retire.

"I was very impressed with this community among all the others we visited because the land planning was so beautifully designed," Michael Peitler said. "Anthem Country Club offers an unbeatable atmosphere and uniquely planned neighborhoods with distinctive architecture and the lush green scenery of the golf course that winds throughout the whole community."

The Peitlers chose the Pastorale plan in the Baroque Collection of floor plans. Four series of homes with 20 floor plans range from 1,275 to 5,800 square feet.

Prices start from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Also featured at the community are a guard-gated entry, water features, landscaping, and recreational facilities such as a clubhouse, athletic club and six lighted tennis courts.

The couple appreciates the recreational opportunities available to them.

"It was important to us to live in an active community and we have found that Anthem Country Club truly offers a variety of activities and amenities. My husband plays tennis everyday and I use the pool everyday," Carol Peitler said.

The athletic club and salon houses a fitness area; swimming, lap and children's pools; a spa; sand volleyball court; basketball court; locker rooms; a poolside caafe; aerobics classes; and personal trainers.

Also in the club is a salon and spa offering hair, nail, massage therapy and facial services. Another amenity is a children's area for members' use while working out.

The clubhouse features fine dining, a grill, meeting room, board room, member governance offices and a golf shop.

A 7,300-yard, par-72 championship golf course offers views of the surrounding valley and as many as five tees per hole. Equity and executive memberships are available.

The community's design studio features professional designers to help home buyers with customizing options. Custom-home sites are available, featuring separate gated entrances to each neighborhood within the main guard-gated entry.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, to the entrance of the Anthem master-planned community.

The sales and information center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
