PortaCielo garners honors

     PortaCielo, a collection of resort-style homes in the SouthShore community at Lake Las Vegas Resort, offers Mediterranean-style homes.
      Three floor plans are available, ranging from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet. Homes are priced from the $470,000s.
      Residents of the guard-gated neighborhood can access the SouthShore Yacht & Beach Club.
      PortaCielo is a development of Escondido, Calif.-based Innovative Resort Communities. Earlier this month, the project was honored by the San Diego BIA-sponsored Sam Awards with three first-place honors: best sales brochure; best detached housing product for the Villa Fortuna plan; and best model home interior for the Villa Paradiso model.
      To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Lake Las Vegas Parkway, which is seven miles east of Boulder Highway.
      Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
