Anthem Country Club celebrates first anniversary
Anthem Country Club hosted 500 guests at festivities marking its first anniversary.
"We conducted tours of our athletic club, park and golf course," Bob Rademacher, sales manager, said.
The 13,700-square-foot athletic club opened its doors last spring. In addition to exercise equipment, it has an aerobics studio, lap pool, swimming pool, wading pool and spa. Sand volleyball and tennis courts are also available as is pool-side dining. A salon and spa within the athletic club offers hair, nail, massage therapy and facial services.
The golf course is a 7,300-yard, 18-hole championship facility designed by pro golfer Hale Irwin and course designer Keith Foster. Equity and nonresident golf memberships are available. Its clubhouse is planned for completion in spring 2000. The 33,000-square-foot facility will have a dining room, meeting room, dining areas, offices, a pro shop, and locker rooms.
The 1,000-acre community will comprise 1,500 homes and custom-home sites and is part of the 4,800-acre Anthem master plan. Custom lots measure one-half acre and are priced from $275,000 to $500,000.
