Assemblyman Bob Beers will discuss air quality with the local chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Palace Station.
Beers is a member of the Legislature's Interim Study Committee on Air Quality.

The Las Vegas Custom Home Network will sponsor a free seminar for prospective custom-home builders at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 inside the Canyon Gate Country Club, 2001 Canyon Gate Drive.
