Permit activity slows in North Las Vegas
Single-family permit activity was down in North Las Vegas in September, when 135 permits were pulled valued at $10.9 million vs. 233 permits for $19.8 million in September 1998, according to the city's Permit Application Center.
For the year through September, 1,405 single-family permits were pulled for $118.7 million compared to 1,667 permits for $140 million during the same period in 1998.
On the commercial side, there were nine permits issued in September '99 for $3.7 million compared to five permits for $9.7 million in the same period one year ago.
During the first three quarters of '99, there were 71 permits for $39.2 million issued in the commercial sector vs. 76 permits for $51.3 million during the first nine months of 1998.
This September, 349 permits were issued for $19.7 million, while September 1998 saw 434 permits valued at $46.6 million.
For the year through September, the city issued 3,338 permits valued at $240.3 million compared to the same period in 1998, when 3,412 permits totaled $298.7 million.
