Several reasons account for the success of Angeline Falls, one of four gated neighborhoods within Centex Homes' Waterfall community in North Las Vegas, according to sales agent Marni Hughes. More than 90 of the subdivision's 200 homes have been sold since it opened in May.
"Everyone comments on how elegant these homes are," she said. "Buyers love the spacious kitchens (and) family rooms and the inviting courtyards. They also get excited about the included features we offer such as slab granite kitchen counter tops, maple cabinets, pavers at the driveway and entry walkway, and the Energy Star seal of approval."

Energy-efficient features include low-e windows and upgraded insulation in exterior walls.
Angeline Falls offers two-story floor plans ranging from 2,539 to 3,063 square feet with three to five bedrooms and two to three baths. Highlights, per plan, include casitas, three-car garages, porte-cochere entries, and turret-shaped entries.
The two-story layouts featured at Aberdeen Falls measure 2,454 to 3,807 square feet with as many as seven bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Three-car garages are standard.
Latourell Falls provides single-story residences that can measure as large as 2,756 square feet with as many as four bedrooms, plus a great room with an 11-foot ceiling.
Isabel Falls' single-story homes measure 1,750 to 2,227 square feet. Features, per plan, include morning rooms, covered patios and optional dual master suites. Two-car garages are standard.
Homes at Waterfall are priced from the mid-$300,000s. Buyers who finance their new-home purchase through the preferred lender receive $2,800 off closing costs.
The builder provides a two-year fit and finish warranty.
Community amenities include four private parks, playgrounds, a water-splash area, climbing wall, neighborhood pools and a workout center.
