Carlisle amenities in use year-round

Raft of entertainment options offers recreation for all seasons

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

The season of cool weather, football games and holiday parties has arrived, bringing with it demands for amenities such as fire pits, hot tubs and the clubhouse at Carlisle, a condominium development in the Summerlin master-planned community.

"When I'm hosting a party or having a number of friends over, it's nice to have access to the clubhouse," unit owner Juan Montes said. "I love having my friends over. My home was made for living, not parties, that's what the clubhouse is designed for."

The 2,000-square-foot clubhouse provides a kitchen, granite-topped bar, a social area with a 40-inch TV, a DVD player, fireplace and comfortable seating. The fitness area encompasses 900 square feet with cardio and weight-training equipment, free weights, television, locker rooms and dry sauna.

Outdoors, owners can take advantage of Southern Nevada's pleasant year-round climate at the heated swimming pool, spa and fireplace with sitting area.

"In my decision to purchase at Carlisle, it not only came down to a great Summerlin location within my price range, but the full cache of amenities that was appealing for someone with my active lifestyle," Montes said. "Without yard work, maintenance or service and utilities issues, I have more time to play."

Buyers can choose from six floor plans, including condos and townhomes.

The Abbington townhome features two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It also has a combined kitchen and dining area, patio and two-car garage. It is priced from $300,990. The Aldridge, also a townhome, contains three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The master suite has a walk-in closet, and the kitchen opens to the dining area. The residence also has a patio and two-car garage. The price starts from the low $300,000s.

The remaining units feature one to three bedrooms and one or two baths. Prices start from the high $100,000s to the $270,000s.

Standard features in all residences include stainless steel appliances, maple cabinetry, media niches, and granite counter tops with bull-nose edges. Also included are washer/dryers; central forced-air heating and air conditioning; and ceramic-tile flooring in the kitchens, baths and entries. Garages are available, per plan.

The sales office, located at 10250 N. Covington Cross Drive, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
