US Home touts option choices

US Home offers its homeowners as many choices as possible when it comes to the finishing touches for their new homes, according to company executive Vicki Zoot.

"Everyone wants a home that reflects their own taste and lifestyle. That's why US Home is committed to giving our home buyers an incredible selection of interior design and exterior finish choices," Zoot said.

The builder unveiled new model homes last week at Canyon Mist Estates, a neighborhood in northwest Las Vegas, showing off a variety of optional upgrades available through the builder's design center.

"Model homes are designed to highlight different looks and style details," Zoot said. "Inside and outside, our buyers can make personal decisions to add the particular upgrades that are important to them."

Exterior selections include color choices, as well as a variety of styles.

"Adding rock, river stone, brick or other veneers to your home's exterior gives any home an upscale look. It's an added dimension and the kind of detail that can make all the difference in your home's curb appeal," Zoot said. "But you can also look at adding different styles of exterior light fixtures, even upgraded garage doors, and window trims."

Interior options are numerous, but vary depending on the phase of construction of the home. They include wet bars, spa tubs, indirect lighting, granite counter tops, ceramic-tile and tumbled-stone surfaces, theater system prewiring, upgraded plumbing fixtures and cabinetry hardware, fireplaces and built-in ironing boards. Design center staff can assist with the selections.

The neighborhood is located at Jones Boulevard and Elkhorn Road. It features a gated entry, walking trails and home sites large enough for recreational vehicle parking.

Home designs range from 3,000 to 4,500 square feet and all feature a three-car garage. Select homes are available for November move-ins.

Prices start from $599,990.

Other neighborhoods by the builder include: Torrey Pines Estates, located at Rainbow Boulevard at Azure Drive, where homes on half-acre sites are priced from the $500,000s; The Courts at Turtle Creek on Jones and Azure, where homes start from the $500,000s; Rancho de Paz on Azure and Losee Road, which has homes ranging from 1,502 to 2,659 square feet and priced from the $200,000s; and Whisper Willows at Desert Inn Road and Sloan Lane, which has homes ranging from 1,497 to 2,659 with prices from the $200,000s.
