Lifestyle on parade at Red Rock

Throughout autumn, Red Rock Country Club will host a series of wine-and-cheese receptions at its sales center each Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"This is an opportunity for our sales agents to casually visit with home shoppers in a relaxed environment with some wonderful wines served," said Karin Stiles, vice president of sales at the community. "The idea of joining with friends for a glass of wine embodies the Red Rock Country Club lifestyle, which includes a stunning natural setting and fantastic amenities for everyone from single professionals to families and retirees."

Golf cart tours of the community allow visitors to see the amenities the community offers.

"We have a six-passenger golf cart, which we use to take home shoppers on a brief tour that highlights the main clubhouse, sports club and aquatic center, and nearby stadium tennis court facility, as well as some picturesque points along the golf course," Stiles said. "Our guests love being able to tour the models and experience a taste of the overall Red Rock community (from) a golf cart, which is perfect for a golf course community."

Last weekend, the community released homes for sale on holes 13, 14 and 15 of the Arroyo golf course. These homes are priced from $350,000 to more than $700,000 and offer views of the golf course.

"This release features a select few of our best-selling plans from each of our three collections with floor plans that appeal to couples and families, including homes in The Ocotillo Collection. ... Plan 3103 measures 3,802 square feet with four bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, great room, dining room, and family room. ...," Stiles said.

The release includes plans 1101 and 1102 in The Acacia Collection; plans 2201, 2202, 2203 and 2204 in The Mesquite Collection; and plans 3101, 3102, 3103 and 3104 in The Ocotillo Collection.

Located at the foothills of the Spring Mountains, Red Rock Country Club is nestled behind masonry walls and features a 24-hour manned gatehouse.

The one- and two-story homes offer as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages. They range from 2,100 to 8,000 square feet and are priced from $280,000 to more than $2 million.

The homes feature a variety of architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial, Italianate and Desert Contemporary. Among the available options are casitas, courtyards with fireplaces, wet bars, and retreats with media niches and fireplaces in the owner bedrooms. Professional designers are available at the sales center and design studio to assist homeowners with design decisions.

The sports club offers health and fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised play area.

An aquatic center features a family pool, spa, adults-only pool, lap pool, a splash-and-spray mini-park and an outdoor grill.

A 44,000-square-foot clubhouse with restaurants and meeting rooms is scheduled to open in January.

There are also two golf courses and a practice facility. Other amenities include a pro shop, locker rooms, steam rooms, lounges and a media center.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Hualapai Way, to Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Also in Las Vegas, Sunrise Colony Co. develops the Siena age-qualified community.
