Street of Dreams concludes at Seven Hills


Today is the last chance to visit the Street of Dreams housing and lifestyle event at Seven Hills in Henderson. Nine custom homes valued from $1.2 million to nearly $3 million are open for viewing on one street in the community's Venezia neighborhood.

Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and tickets will be available until 5 p.m.

Tonight, the participating builders and designers will be honored at a banquet, where awards in several categories, including Best of Show, will be presented. There are two sets of awards -- one determined by professional judges and the other by the public.

The homes range from 4,400 to 7,700 square feet and feature antiques dating to the 1600s as well as the latest in construction, technology and interior appointments.

Participating builders are: Remington Homes; Sun West Custom Homes; Raftery Homes; Western States Custom Homes; Stuart Michael Inc.; Martin Homes; Eckhaus Custom Homes; U.S. Home Corp.; and Signature Custom Homes.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and children 4 to 12 years old, and free for children 3 and under.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue, head south to St. Rose Parkway, go west about one mile to Seven Hills Drive then turn south. Or, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Drive, go east three miles to Seven Hills Drive then go south.
