Former Floridians roll into Seven Hills
When former Florida residents Tim and Beth Harms were preparing to move to Southern Nevada, they considered several new communities and neighborhoods in the valley before choosing Seven Hills in Henderson. They said the community's lifestyle and the floor plan they found were best suited to their family of five. "We immediately liked the design of Seven Hills, with all of the parks, trails and opportunities for outdoor activities," Beth Harms said. "We also liked the idea of living in a community where there is an association, because we know it promotes a sense of pride of ownership, where the homes, neighborhoods and open space areas will be well-maintained. "From a convenience standpoint, we could see that Seven Hills was a wonderful place to live." The Harms found the perfect home for their family at Riviera, a neighborhood by Pardee Homes. "When we walked into the Genoa model, we knew we had found the home we were looking for," Harms said. "We liked the single-story design, the dramatic entry and the kitchen, which features a food preparation island, plenty of cabinet space and adjacency to a spacious family room. It's a very comfortable home with four bedrooms, plenty of cabinet and storage space, a three-car garage and an impressive list of included features." The couple was also impressed with the service from the builder's sales staff. "Our sales agent, Gil Reagan, was great," Tim Harms said. "Buying a home from the other side of the United States can be a challenge, but Gil followed through on all the details to ensure that our transaction went through in a professional and timely manner." A development of Silver Canyon Partnership, the community offers a range of single-family housing priced from the $130,000s to about $330,000. There are dozens of model homes and more than 45 floor plans. Also available are custom-home sites priced from $180,000 to $950,000. Neighborhoods open for sales are: Renaissance, Riviera, Crescendo and Presidio by Pardee Homes; Palermo West, Capistrano and Naples by Kimball Hill Homes; Meridiana by Trident Homes; the Venezia and Terracina custom neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership; and Corcovado and Portofino Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp. Palazzo Monte by U.S. Home is planned. More than one-third of the community's 1,300 acres is allocated for open areas such as parks. Information can be obtained at the community sales pavilion, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pavilion is located on Seven Hills Drive, which is about half a mile west of the Eastern Avenue and St. Rose Parkway intersection.
