Sales continue at Siena's new phase

Siena, an age-qualified community in Summerlin, recently released a series of homes that yielded 20 sales in one week, according to sales agents.

The homes, situated on and off the golf course, will be available next fall. Construction begins in April 2002.

"With this particular phase, the delivery date gives buyers extra time to sell an existing home and prepare for their new home and life at Siena," Paul Smith, senior vice president and Siena project manager, said. "And, judging from the initial response, our buyers are looking towards the future."

The community features five Italian-themed collections of homes and 14 single-story floor plans measuring from 1,200 to 3,000 square feet. Prices range from $170,000 to the $600,000s.

Each plan offers three exterior designs and customizing options, including courtyard fireplaces and casitas with separate entrances. Interior designers at the builder's design studio are available to assist homeowners.

Amenities include a Tuscan-themed, 15,900-square-foot fitness center with an indoor swim pavilion featuring a 25-meter pool, a spa and two-story windows overlooking the community's golf course, outdoor pool and spa, and lighted tennis and bocce courts. The center also has cardiovascular, weight and exercise rooms, as well as saunas, steam rooms and a wellness center.

A full-service beauty salon and day spa offers massages, sports therapy, reflexology and body treatments, and a social center hosts a computer lab, billiards and card rooms, and a variety of classes, ranging from ballroom dancing to watercolor painting.

One-third of the community's 1,900 homes will be built along a par-72, 18-hole championship golf course, open on a daily-fee basis to all ages. Siena residents are given preferred rates and tee times.

A 13,500-square-foot golf clubhouse, scheduled for completion in late spring/early summer 2002, will feature a golf shop, locker rooms and casual dining.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue or Interstate 215 to Town Center Drive and go south to Siena Monte Avenue. The sales office and model homes are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
