Perma-Bilt debuts Sequoia



Perma-Bilt Homes' newest neighborhood, Sequoia, debuts today in the southwestern valley.

"Sequoia is a gated community of 212 charming cul-de-sac homes, a private park, and spectacular city and mountain views," said Daniel Schwartz, president and CEO of Perma-Bilt Homes. "And, priced from the $150,000s, we anticipate that Sequoia will be another fast-selling and successful community for Perma-Bilt."

The grand opening celebration, scheduled from noon to 4 p.m., includes refreshments, a radio remote, and one free pumpkin per family while supplies last.

"This is a great opportunity to get into the spirit of the harvest season while viewing the four new model homes at Sequoia and take advantage of these affordably priced homes and historically low 30-year fixed mortgage rates," Schwartz said.

The floor plans range from 1,379 to 2,647 square feet. Design elements include a library, island kitchen, and tandem three-car garage, while options such as a bonus room, loft, retreat and as many as five bedrooms are available.

All homes have received the Comfort Wise and Energy Star designations, which help reduce energy costs as much as 30 percent when compared to a home built to standard codes. Energy-efficient features include special windows that reduce the sun's heat penetration in the summer and help insulate the home in winter, high-efficiency air conditioning and heating systems, tightly sealed ducts, and extra insulation.

The single-story Noble plan measures 1,379 square feet and features three bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage, country kitchen, and separate living and family rooms.

The Spruce plan, a single-story home measuring 1,637 square feet, has three bedrooms, two baths, a library, island kitchen with nook and adjoining family room, and a two-car garage.

Measuring 2,062 square feet, the two-story Douglas plan has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, island kitchen with adjoining dining room and family room. The home offers a tandem three-car garage or optional fifth bedroom with bath.

The Ponderosa plan measures 2,467 square feet with a three-car garage. The two-story home has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Optional configurations include a bonus room, loft/retreat, and fifth bedroom and third bath.

To visit, take Blue Diamond Road west to Decatur Boulevard and turn left.

The models and sales office are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
