Day Dawn Village earns Energy Star seal
A new dawn in home living has begun at Nevada Homes Group's newest development, Day Dawn Village in the northwestern valley. Priced from the $140,000s, the homes range from 1,309 to 2,309 square feet and have garnered the Energy Star seal for efficiency. They include such features as cellulose insulation and low-E windows. The builder offers an optional roof-mounted, solar-power wind turbine which helps dissipate hot air from the attic. The homes have two to five bedrooms, dens, lofts, great rooms, 9-foot vaulted ceilings, pot shelves, rounded corners, wrought-iron stair rails, and textured walls and ceilings. Kitchens feature cabinetry with crown molding and adjustable shelves, laminate counter tops, cultured-marble sinks with single-handle faucets, appliances, and a preplumbed waterline for the refrigerator. Stucco finishes, covered balconies and patios are also featured. To visit the neighborhood, travel west on Cheyenne Avenue to Hualapai Way, go north, turn right on Gowan Road and follow the signs. It is located next to Metro Park and at the base of Lone Mountain. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
