Buyers favor Aliante from first visit

From the time Ray and Lori Wells first visited Aliante, they knew they would be buying a home at the new master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

"We drove into Aliante and immediately liked what we saw, especially the open space areas and the beautiful mountain views," Ray Wells said. "We could sense that this was going to be a wonderful place to live for people of all ages. From that point forward, we began the process of selling our former home in Las Vegas and purchasing our future home at Aliante."

The Wells chose a home in Del Webb's age-qualified Sun City Aliante development.

"Sun City Aliante is a lovely part of Aliante and Del Webb offers a great selection of homes here," Lori Wells said. "In fact, the entire Sun City concept is appealing to us, with lots of recreational facilities, as well as clubs and activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and good interaction with your neighbors."

At 1,905 acres, Aliante consists of primary and age-qualified villages. Nearly 430 acres have been designated for recreational and public purposes including an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, more than 20 miles of trails and linear parks, and an arroyo.

Builders in the primary village are D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes. Prices start from the $130,000s to the high $300,000s.

Prices at Sun City Aliante start from the $180,000s to the $270,000s.

Community plans call for two elementary schools, a middle school and a fire station.

About 100 acres are allocated for commercial development, including a 40-acre resort with gaming.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive, and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road, then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go south to the primary village or north to Sun City.
