Sagewood's advantages touted



Pardee Homes' Sagewood neighborhood at the Rancho Las Palmas community in the southeastern valley features "the right home at the right price in the right location," according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales.

The homes feature the Environmental Protrection Agency's Energy Star label and exceed national energy standards by at least 30 percent.

Five floor plans are priced from $170,450 to $213,250. They offer as many as five bedrooms, three baths and three-car garages.

The single-story Plan One features three bedrooms, two baths, an island kitchen and dining room combination, and a two-car garage. The 1,383-square-foot home is priced from $170,450.

Plan Two is a single-story, 1,718-square-foot home with four bedrooms, or three bedrooms and a den, two baths, and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. It is priced from $185,950.

At 2,442 square feet, the two-story Plan Three provides four bedrooms, three baths, a bonus room, upstairs laundry room and two-car garage. It is priced from $213,250.

Priced from $208,250, the two-story Plan Four offers 2,296 square feet and the choice of three bedrooms, a den and loft, or as many as five bedrooms, plus 2 3/4 baths and a three-car garage.

Designed with a second-floor laundry room and linen closet, Plan Five offers an optional downstairs guest room and third bath, or standard den with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a bonus room. It measures 2,557 square feet and is priced from $213,250.

Kitchens feature ceramic-tile counter tops, oak cabinetry, preparation islands in most plans, pantries and appliance packages. Ceramic-tile or wood entry flooring, six-panel doors, and cultured-marble counter tops in secondary baths are also featured.

Master suites contain walk-in closets, dual sinks, cultured-marble counter tops, and separate tub and shower in plans Four and Five.

The community is home to an elementary school, and Hidden Palms Park, which features ball fields, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, jogging trails; and picnic areas.

To visit, take the Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane and turn right. Go to Bermuda Road, turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
