KB Home hosts Street of Screams
Halloween night will come to life at Iron Mountain Ranch when KB Home's Street of Screams offers little ghosts and goblins a wickedly good time. The 11 model homes at the northwestern valley development will be decorated and stocked with candy from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. The public is invited to the free event. A contest looking for the scariest, funniest and most original costumes will be held for children ages 12 and younger. The three winners will each receive 25 tickets to the Sterling and Reid Three Ring Circus so that they can take their friends and family with them. A carnival will be held at the Mesa series of model homes where kids can try their hand at four skillful games, including hole-in-one golf and a ring toss. Guests can also enjoy carnival food such as popcorn and pretzels. Adults will be able to join in the fun and enter a drawing to win a party from Port of Subs; a six-lap Indy car experience from Driving 101; a trip for two from National Airlines; a Big Bear, Calif., vacation package valued at $1,000; and dinner and a movie for four from Pacific Pools. To attend, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, go north three miles to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Iron Mountain Ranch consists of four series of homes, all of which offer a 10-year limited warranty.
