KB Home's Mariposa, located in The Paseos village in Summerlin, is considered to be one of the builder's most popular neighborhoods, according to marketing director Bonnie Hernandez.

Three models and four floor plans are available, and priced from the high $400,000s.
The Monarch measures 2,031 square feet with three bedrooms, a loft, family room, 2 1/2 baths, low-e windows, 9-foot ceilings and a two-car garage.
Also featured is a loggia off the family room and nook downstairs, as well as a mirador outside the second and third bedrooms upstairs.
"A loggia is a covered patio in the back that has a paseo-style look to it," Hernandez said. "A mirador is a covered balcony on the second story."
Another plan, the Gossamer, measures 2,464 square feet with three bedrooms, a loft, family room and 2 1/2 baths. It has a two-car garage.

To reach Mariposa, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Charleston Boulevard and head west. Turn right at Desert Foothills Drive, left at Paseo Mist Drive then right at Paseo Breeze Drive.
The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
