MacDonald touts latest custom product

MacDonald Highlands has made available nine "compound lots" to form the new Stone Mountain Ridge neighborhood, according to Rich MacDonald, president of MacDonald Cos. and developer of the custom-home community in Henderson.

"Stone Mountain Ridge was created when we noticed an increase of buyers purchasing multiple sites for one large estate," MacDonald said. "We took one entire ridgeline and shaped nine large parcels with elevation changes of over 260 vertical feet, and the views are astonishing."

Each lot will be graded with buildable space ranging from 1 to 3 acres. Prices start at $2 million.

Lot buyers are required to construct a residence that measures at least 10,000 square feet.

MacDonald Highlands is a 1,200-acre, guard-gated community. The information center is located at 1730 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 100.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Valle Verde Drive then go south to Horizon Ridge.

The office is open daily, but due to construction in the area, prospective buyers are encouraged to visit on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
