Amenities spring up near Pardee's Dakota
Families in the Dakota neighborhood, located within the Shadow Mountain Ranch community, benefit from new amenities in the rapidly developing southwestern valley, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales for Pardee Homes. "The quality of the homes reflects the quality of the community," Landry said. "I invite everyone to see and feel the difference as they visit our models and drive through the neighborhood." There are four one- and two-story floor plans. The single-story Plan One includes three bedrooms and two baths in 1,431 square feet, plus a two-car garage. With a fourth bedroom or optional den, the home measures 1,597 square feet. Plan Two has three bedrooms and two baths in 1,555 square feet. A den or fourth bedroom increases the single-story plan to 1,688 square feet. The two-story Plan Four comes with as many as five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a three-car tandem garage. A loft, great room and studio/casita are optional. The home ranges from 2,241 to 2,503 square feet. With as many as six bedrooms and four baths, the two-story Plan Six is modeled with three bedrooms, a bonus room, den, 2 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. It ranges from 2,694 to 2,925 square feet. All of the homes exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent, qualifying for the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star designation, Landry said. Prices start from $349,950 to $470,450. To visit, take Tropicana Avenue west, past Durango Drive, to Grand Canyon Drive, then go south to Diablo Drive. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. Pardee Homes has built nearly 30,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
