Windermere expands; adds Henderson office

Windermere Prestige Properties has moved into 3,499 square feet of a new Class A office building at 2200 Paseo Verde Parkway in Henderson.

Owner/broker Heidi Kasama said in addition to the new office and an older one in northwest Las Vegas, the company plans to open a location in Summerlin this fall.

"Our goal was to have the best locations in town, and we are thrilled with our new office in The District (at Green Valley Ranch)," Kasama said. "This is a prime location with excellent visibility and a very professional image."

Kasama said the firm has 43 agents in Southern Nevada, and expects that number to grow to 120 within the next year. She said the company's training programs are a key means of recruiting agents.

"(Our company) places a priority on education," she said. "For new agents, our Windermere University provides an intensive four-week training class."

In addition, the company holds a two-day education symposium each year that features national speakers, agent panels and a variety of sessions on topics such as skill-building techniques, technology tools and personal development.

Windermere Prestige Properties is an affiliate of Windermere Real Estate. Established in Seattle in 1972, the network encompasses more than 250 offices and 6,000 agents in eight western states, as well as British Columbia.
