Hot dogs and apple pie are on the menu today at Willow Trace, Richmond American's newest neighborhood in the southwestern valley. The grand opening celebration includes the debut of the model homes and, in recognition of the fall season, each family who visits will receive a free pumpkin. The festivities start at 11 a.m. Buyers can select from four floor plans featured in the builder's El Capitan Collection. Various exterior color schemes are available, and two-car garages are standard. The single-story Merced has two bedrooms and two baths, and measures 962 square feet. The open design includes a dining area adjacent to the kitchen, and a family room. The master suite contains a walk-in closet, oval tub, cultured-marble vanity with dual sinks, and enclosed toilet. Prices start from the $240,000s. The two-story Mariposa model showcases three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It measures 1,168 square feet. Its U-shaped kitchen and dining area are open to the family room. The residence is priced from the $270,000s. At 1,398 square feet, the two-story Sequoia is priced from the $300,000s. The dining area, family room and kitchen, which has space for a nook, are located downstairs, while the master suite and two secondary bedrooms are upstairs. The home has 2 1/2 baths. The largest plan is the Yosemite, a two-story residence that measures 1,575 square feet. It includes three bedrooms, while a fourth bedroom or loft is optional. All bedrooms are upstairs, as is the laundry room. The master bath provides an oval tub, a cultured-marble vanity with dual sinks, and an enclosed toilet. The kitchen with nook, family room and den are downstairs. The home is priced from the $310,000s. To attend today's grand opening at Willow Trace, take Interstate 15 to Blue Diamond Road, go west to Decatur Boulevard, then north to Eldorado Lane.
